We are offering full and part time employment opportunities in the field of Loss Prevention.  Responsibilities involve undercover security detail, the discrete observation and surveillance of suspects, the arrest and detention of shoplifters, interview and processing of detained offenders, report composition, and liaising with police.  Some internal surveillance may be required to aid with employee investigations.

Candidates are required to have a clean criminal record, possess integrity and a solid work ethic.  Post secondary education in Criminology or Justice Studies is an asset, although not mandatory.

A simple security licence through the Alberta Solicitor General is a requirement for this field of employment.  We can assist successful candidates with the application process, should they not already be licensed.

Due to the large number of stores our Loss Prevention program is responsible for, and due to the nature of dealing with suspects and repeat offenders, our Loss Prevention professionals are responsible to work at many different store locations, requiring a reliable vehicle.  The diversity of working within different environments is refreshing and engaging, rather than being pigeonholed into the same location every day.

Full on-the-job training is provided to successful candidates.

The achieved experience and exposure to handling an abundance of various security related incidents, (to include the arrest and processing of offenders) provides a wealth of invaluable experience, knowledge and skill set related to the law enforcement field.
